Mojo PWR2

A truly versatile wing designed for both powered and free flight

The Mojo PWR 2 is a truly versatile wing, ideal for those looking for a one-wing solution for both powered and free flight. The all new design features many optimisations and updates: reduced sail drag, reinforced and optimised line layout, reduced line consumption, newly-shaped wing tips for less roll and optimised cell openings for impeccable launching behaviour and improved full speed performance. Internally, the wing has been updated with a new structure and alignment of the rib holes for better structural stability and cohesion. The risers feature trimmers for fast cruising, adjustable pulleys to adjust the brake line lengths depending on your motor setup along with magnetic brake connectors.
Special attention has been made to the ground handling and inflation characteristics of the wing to make the whole launching process easier, less stressful and ultimately safer. Setting up is easy; the risers are simple and clean the wing inflates smoothly – without overshooting or hanging back – even in zero wind conditions. In stronger winds it inflates progressively with less tendency to “shoot up” and pull the pilot off their feet.

In the air the Mojo PWR 2 is agile, stable and comfortable with a sporty feel. The increased top speed and reduced tendency to oscillate improves the PPG experience when flown heavily loaded under power, and the tight sporty feel through the brakes when in free flight mode makes it ideal for thermalling, ridge soaring and XC flying. In active air the wing is compact and forgiving, it cuts through turbulence efficiently and is very resistant to deflations. It delivers gentle, predictable feedback and filters air movements in an understandable way. At full speed the leading edge remains solid allowing for a large usable speed range and high cruise speeds.

Brake pressure and brake precision have been further refined for improved handling – turns are easy to initiate, and the wing maintains bank angles whilst thermalling with minimal input and a sporty dynamic feel.

The balance of performance, safety and strength is an important consideration for any new pilot, and the Mojo PWR 2 combines EN A* rating with solidity, agility, low sink rate, and excellent glide performance that is necessary for short take off and low fuel consumption during long XC flights.
The Mojo PWR 2 is a versatile crossover wing which excels in both free flying and powered flight. It is suitable for students in all levels of training and also for the newly qualified who require an easy, safe and solid wing for their first 100s hours of paramotor experience as well as paragliding ridge soaring, thermalling and XC flying.

*This wing has passed the criteria required by the DGAC and has been load tested to the EN 926.1 standard. In addition to our own extensive testing, it has also been independently flight tested to the EN 926.2 standard with the trimmers set to the slow position. Releasing the trimmers, or flying outside of the EN certified weight range invalidates any EN flight certification. As delivered, the wing does not conform to the EN 926.2 standard due to the inclusion of the trimmer risers

Speedster 3

The ideal wing for your next cross-country adventure

PRODUCT INFO
The Speedster is a fully reflexed Paramotor wing designed for intermediate to advanced level pilots. Predominantly designed for long distance PPG XC flights, the Speedster is a fun, dynamic and versatile wing that can be also used for low level carving and slalom flying. The latest design incorporates technologies taken from our high performance paragliding range, the development of which is guided by feedback from paramotor pilots all over the world and tested by the world’s best. Although specifically designed for PPG, due to the high levels of efficiency and excellent handling characteristics the Speedster can also be used for free flying – ideal for ridge soaring, thermalling even XC flights.

The Pilot
The Speedster is designed for intermediate and advanced level pilots alike. It is ideal for intermediate pilots progressing from lower level wings, such as the Roadster, and for more experienced pilots who do not want the extra demands of a competition wing.

Speed and Stability
The core elements of an effective Paramotoring wing are speed and stability. The Speedster is fast, but more importantly, solid throughout the speed range. The large trim range allows high speed cruising without the need to engage the accelerator system. At full speed the Speedster remains very resistant to collapses, even in turbulent air and is easy to maintain thanks to the super smooth action of the risers that does not deform the profile. The risers are simple and easy to use, the full foot-operated accelerator range is always accessible irrespective of the trimmer position. Unlike some other PPG wings, it is safe and possible to use the full range of the speed system even with the trimmers in the standard (slow) position without reducing the inherent stability of the profile.
The carefully designed and tested OZRP reflex profile is not only solid and fast but also forgiving. As the amount of reflex increases in a profile, certain other parameters can suffer: namely, ease of launch, quality of handling, fuel efficiency, and passive safety. These categories, for us, are extremely important and not to be compromised, we always strive to implement intelligent combinations of stable profiles and complex internal structures to improve the development of the Speedster range.

Agility
At Ozone handling is a top priority in every wing we design. From our most basic school wing to the highest performing competition wings, we always aim to make wings that are a pleasure to fly. The Speedster’s agile and responsive handling is a result of hundreds of hours of testing and refinement from an experienced design team and some of the World’s best pilots. The Speedster is an agile fun wing that handles like a paragliding wing rather than a normal reflexed PPG wing. The Ozone Tip Steering System TST is simple, efficient, and easy to use and allows safe and effective control during accelerated flight, without the use of brakes.
The optional 2D system, derived from competition slalom racing, allows for precise control across the span of the trailing edge. The 2D system combines the brakes and the TST, transforms the character of the Speedster – the wing becomes more dynamic and responsive with improved precision of control and allows the full potential of the handling to be unlocked.

Launching
The inflation and ground handling behaviour is extremely important for a fun safe flight. Extra attention is placed on the launch characteristics of the Speedster so that it inflates evenly and with little effort in nil wind conditions, whilst inflating steadily, without over-shooting, in strong wind conditions.

Legacy
The continual development of the Speedster model range is an important mission for us, our aim is to always improve the concept to make it better, safer and more fun to fly. After a long development process we are now happy with the changes that have been made, our testing proves the new wing is a real pleasure to fly, with a surprisingly high top speed and a general ease of use that will appeal to discerning Paramotor pilots.

Structure
The Speedster 3 combines the well proven design elements of the Speedster 2, Freeride slalom and our high performance paraglider range: The arc, planform, aspect ratio, tab positioning, profile and intake positions are very similar to the Speedster 2 but blended with the internal structure and line rigging of the Freeride. Additional top surface straps have been implemented to increase the overall tension of the sail which is spread more homogenously along the span to improve the cohesion and feel of the wing.

Fast and efficient
3D shaping in the leading edge reduces drag and increases the amount of lift generated. With two extra cells and a cleaner leading edge, combined with the reduced amount of line drag, optimised profile and longer range trimmers, the Speedster 3 is the most efficient Speedster yet. Ideal for long XC flights, classic competitions and fun slalom races.

Stable and safe
The optimised OZRP Reflex profile accepts large amounts of turbulence without collapse throughout the speed range so is well suited for flying in thermic conditions. Load tested to the EN 926-1 standard and acknowledged by the DGAC, our extensive internal testing has shown the Speedster 3 to exhibit very similar behaviour to the previous models and conforms to the requirements of EN C (trimmers set in the slow position).
*Note the Speedster 3 has not been independently EN 926-2 flight tested.

Versatility, agility and fun
The character of the Speedster 3 is determined by the wing loading and the use of the optional 2D steering system. Centred in the weight range with the standard brake set up, the wing is an efficient climber perfect for normal XC flying. Installing the 2D system further improves the responsiveness, control and agility of the wing. Flying a smaller size at the top of the range transforms the character completely into a dynamic and agile wing with high levels of precision, perfect for low level carving or fun slalom racing.
Differences compared to the Speedster 2:

  • 3D shaping leading edge
  • Extra cells and better sink rate performance
  • More performance = better fuel efficiency
  • Higher top speed
  • More speed range in the trimmers
  • More precise and dynamic handling

Available in sizes 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, and 30.

Freeride

A fun and efficient high-performance wing

PRODUCT INFO

The FREERIDE brings a new level of agility and dynamic handling to the intermediate-advanced class of PPG wings. This exciting new design delivers the legendary speed, precision, and efficiency of the OZONE VIPER series, plus the handling and agility of the OZONE SLALOM. The mission of the FREERIDE is to elevate excitement without compromising comfort and stability, and it features the dependability and ease of use that our intermediate range wings have become known for.
Whether you are focused on competitive slalom flying, classic competition, or just carving aggressive lines, the FREERIDE is a fun and efficient high performance wing that delivers the goods.

THE DESIGN
We’ve taken the latest technology and best features from the VIPER 4, SLALOM, and SPEEDSTER 2, and adapted it all to a new mission. The result is one of the fastest and most stable PPG wings that we have ever produced. The planform and arc are based on the Viper 4, but with a lower aspect ratio for a more compact and forgiving feel. The OZRP remains unchanged, featuring SharkNose openings and the highest levels of CM+ within the OZONE range. A pure 4-line rigging plan and a new internal structure have been employed to carefully control the angle of attack and increase the chord-wise cohesion of the sail whilst accelerated. The overall effect is an increase in the internal pressure throughout the speed range for a more forgiving behaviour in turbulence, greater resistance to spin at higher angles of attack, and high levels of inherent stability at lower angles of attack. The efficiency of the sail has been optimised with miniribs, 3D shaping, and plastic rods for a clean, wrinkle free leading edge.

THE PILOT
The Freeride is a competition wing at its base. It replaces the SLALOM, and sits between the VIPER 4 and SPEEDSTER 2 in the OZONE range. It is designed for experienced and advanced pilots who are seeking a wing with more dynamic characteristics than the SPEEDSTER 2, whilst being less demanding and more accessible than the VIPER 4.

PPG COMPETITION RISERS
The risers featuring the OZONE PK system and the option to install either the 2D or “Mateos” style Slalom Steering System

COMPETITION FLYING & FREERIDING
Although primarily designed for competitive slalom flying, the FREERIDE is also highly competitive in the “Classic” PPG comp format. Outside of competition, the FREERIDE is ideal for carving aggressive freestyle lines and venturing out for some efficient XC flying. This wing has been a pleasure to develop and test, and has put excited smiles on the faces of our team. It is a cutting edge design that gives experienced PPG pilots a new, efficient, high performance wing that excels at all types of advanced PPG flying.

MagMax2

Tandem wing for foot-launch and trike

PRODUCT INFO

Foot Launch & Light Trike Tandem
The MagMax 2 is designed for professional tandem pilots. This all new design includes significant upgrades in durability, comfort, and ease, with massive improvements in the areas of launch, landing, and in-flight agility.

THE DESIGN:
The MagMax 2 is based on the Magnum 3, which is a completely new, “ground-up” design. A unique internal structure saves weight and increases lifespan, effectively decreasing the cost of the wing to the professional pilot.
The aspect ratio has not been increased. Because ease of use and passive safety are critical in tandem flying, there have been no compromises in areas of comfort and safety. The MagMax 2’s performance gains are the result of a cleaner leading edge, higher cell count, and optimised line layout (13% drag reduction), all resulting in improved glide ratio and min-sink.

DURABILITY:
A new internal structure and carefully engineered material combinations have reduced the weight by 700g compared to the MagMax, without sacrificing strength. Increasing the lifespan of the wing was a primary design goal – this has greatly reduced the cost-per-flight, of the wing.

LAUNCH:
An obvious benefit of reduced sail weight is improved launch behaviour. No-wind inflations – even with the trimmers in the slow position – are incredibly easy. The slow trim setting allows a slower take-off speed in a shorter distance for easier launches, and better overall sink rate and lighter brake pressure for easy flights. In stronger winds the MagMax 2 is simple, the wing inflates smoothly with no sticking points and without the tendency to overshoot.

IN FLIGHT:
A new arc and tension straps have vastly improved the handling, making it beautifully balanced in the air. Parasitic roll has been reduced, for an “on rails” feeling on glide. Like all of our latest-gen wings, we focused intently on the perfect combination of roll and yaw response delivered through light and precise brakes.

LANDING:
A powerful and easily accessible flare was a primary focus. There is no special technique required: the MagMax 2 “pops” up in the flare, creating lift and killing forward speed. Even with novice passengers at max load in imperfect conditions, the Mag Max 2’s landing is simple.
Designed primarily for foot launched tandem paramotoring, the MagMax 2 can also be used with lightweight trike units. Certified EN B in both 38 and 41 sizes, the MagMax 2 is suitable for experienced, qualified tandem pilots.
